    After graduating in economics, Massimo experienced the activity of credit portfolio managing, project financing and financial flow monitoring of the international holdings of Finmeccanica and Cofiri groups, then he successfully covered responsibility management tasks within the corporate department of the international merchant bank of Banca Commerciale Italiana (currently Intesa SanPaolo group), where he became senior manager within the financial engineering department, operating upon project definition and management of several international corporate transactions, typically oriented towards European targets. In 2003 he co-founded the network Electa Group, where he is currently C.E.O. of Groupe Electa S.A.. Electa Group has been successfully advising the most important pan European private equity funds, through its highly specialized business units, taking mainly care of deal structuring and closing activities, M&A advisory and corporate engineering. Starting from its incorporation, Electa assisted and structured more than 90 transactions and business combinations, for a total enterprise value amounting to more than €7 billion, in the interest of VC and PE worldwide funds. Registered in Luxembourg as conseiller économique, Massimo is at the same time appointed as board member in several holding companies of private equity and entrepreneurial investments and in some regulated and authorized management companies and investment funds. Massimo is also partner and founder of Luxembourg Fund Services S.A., company with the status of Professional of the Financial Sector, under the supervision of the Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier (CSSF), and authorized by the Luxembourg Ministry of Finance, operating and servicing into the investment fund industry, accounting and tax services, company administration as well as corporate engineering for regulated funds and entities.

    Simone Strocchi ha conseguito la laurea in Economia e Commercio presso l’Università di Pavia ed è stato ufficiale di Marina. Dopo esperienze giovanili in diversi settori: shipping&trading internazionale (bulk carrier), produzione e marketing (gruppo Decathlon) con mansioni di responsabilità crescente, dal 1997 al 1998 è stato a responsabile del desk corporate e pianificazione fiscale di Banca Commerciale Italiana (BCI SF&A) Société Européenne de Banque Luxembourg. Ha guidato il team specialistico e progettato soluzioni per grandi realtà imprenditoriali ed operatori private equity (spaziando da tematiche di governance, alla impostazione delle strutture di partecipazione di gruppo, alla pianificazione fiscale). Dal 1999 al 2002 è stato condirettore del dipartimento di Ingegneria Finanziaria di Banca Commerciale Italiana (BCI SF&A) Société Européenne de Banque Luxembourg offrendo soluzioni integrate e consulenze di ingegneria finanziaria per un elevato numero di grandi imprese e fondi private equity principalmente attivi sul mercato italiano. Successivamente Simone Strocchi ha ideato e fondato il Gruppo Electa, di cui è General Partner, che opera come operatore indipendente specializzato nella strutturazione di deal, nella consulenza M&A e nel supporto ad operazioni di private equity. Da 9 anni coordina e sovrintende il team di specialisti di Electa Financial Engineering S.p.A., ed ha organizzato più di 70 operazioni di buy-out ed exit, focalizzandosi prevalentemente su tematiche di deal structuring, business combination e build up aventi ad oggetto la media impresa. Più recentemente, oltre a sviluppare l’attività di advisory specialistico, ha esteso le aree di attività del Gruppo Electa sia ad iniziative focalizzate sulla soluzione di circostanze critiche ricorrenti nel portafoglio di fondi PE Vintage che a sistemi di disintermediazione tra investitori e deal e di riequilibrio dei vettori di interesse tra investitore e gestore.
  • DANIELA DEGHI - Managing partner

    With a combined undergraduate and graduate degree in Law, Business and Administration from Bocconi University and a specialized thesis dissertation in “Asset deal and contribution in kind: comparison in the M&A domain”. She has been working with Electa Italia since 2006, focusing on the management of investment and divestment structuring projects (LBO – MBO) mainly involving Private Equity funds. More specifically, her role towards corporate solutions emanating from financial engineering activities has grown progressively and her responsibilities range throughout the European market with an emphasis on Italy and Southern Europe. Daniela has strongly assumed the role of project management and continues leading from top to bottom with an eye for precision to detail. Commercially oriented and skilled in operations, she has a good grasp for the market and the needs of the clients. She also engages in the development of M&A advisory activities and the cooperation with the Luxembourg team for the organization of European Private Equity Funds focused also in Southern Europe market, including the coordination of the legal, technical and administrative aspects of the fund, and investor reporting related to the Italian participations. Hard working as she is, Daniela makes time for leisure with her passion for sports, travel and culture, while fostering her circles in Milan and beyond.
  • LUCA MAGLIANO - Project Manager

    With combined undergraduate (BA) and graduate (MSc) degrees in Finance at Bocconi University in Milano (ranked 9 in the FT Masters in Finance pre-experience 2015 worldwide ranking), Luca comes with proven analytical skills and has built a dynamic and strong both quantitative and financial culture. After an experience in the Corporate Finance (M&A Advisory and Structured Finance) department at GE Capital Interbanca, he joined Electa Group in 2013. Since then he has been focusing on the management of investment and divestment structuring projects (LBO - MBO), involving a huge panel of mid-large Private Equity funds. The two experiences (GE and then Electa) have been succesfully gathered in a 360° view on the pre analysis and further development of the corporate structuring of PE / VC deal across Europe. In particular his role and responsibilities have progressively grown assuming the current role of project manager in the context of top-to-bottom deal structuring activities, focused on Private Equity and institutional players. With an attitude to challenging operations and innovative solutions, he has a good grasp for the market and the needs of the clients. He also engages in the development of internal projects and M&A advisory activities alongside with the cooperation with the Luxembourg teams for the quantitative implementation of european Alternative Investment Funds, investing both in PE assets and structured financial securities. Fluent both in English and French, hard worker, both in team and independently, concentrated to meet targets, Luca blends his time with his passions for social environment, travels, culture and fine dining.
  • ANGELA OGGIONNI - Managing partner

    As a graduate in International Management – Language Sciences cum laude at the Catholic University of Milan, with a final elaboration on Intermediate Capital, Angela possesses exceptional linguistic strengths and displays a flare for communication. She joined Electa in 2004 entering the Milan team of Electa Italia. She is eclectic and likes demanding missions, particularly in launching new products and empowering Electa’s network of relations. Fond of cutting-edge projects, such as those promoted and developed by the group in recent years, she has contributed for instance to the Private Equity tail-ends segment since its very conception. She also cooperated with the international team of the group, assisting VC and PE funds focused on southern Europe, for legal-technical aspects and IR activities related to their Italian participations. Angela takes great pride in the role she assumed, since 2010, in the engineering, implementation and promotion of alternative investments, among which: Made in Italy 1, the first SPAC of Italian Law, that arranged the listing of SeSa S.p.A.; IPO Challenger pre-booking companies (evolution of the SPAC model) that respectively took Italian Wine Brands S.p.A. and Pharmanutra S.p.A. public; IPO CLUB, feeder fund of SPACs and pre-booking companies, conceived in partnership with Azimut Group and strategically advised by Electa Ventures; SPAC in CLOUD, the digital evolution of the SPAC, created in partnership with Elite on the Elite Club Deal platform. She is an independent board member of Sesa S.p.A., board member of Italian Wine Brands S.p.A. and member of the Advisory Committee of AISPAC - Associazione Italiana delle SPAC.

    After a degree in economics and the financial master MEFIN, she began a series of remarkable experiences in bank and financial contests concerning portfolio management, financial flows management and optimization, bank-company relations. Furthermore she started a long and close cooperation with a very well known Italian family of industrials (Lucchini – Brescia), by dealing with several extraordinary operations of management of quoted and non quoted participations, adhesion to Patti di Sindacato, and debt re-qualification. Professional Partner of Electa Financial Engineering S.p.A., she addresses her contribution to a specific clientele (family office) managing participations, debt re-qualification, corporate restructuring, and to internal projects as “Electa Capital Partners”.
